We now offer a range of Inflatable seals manufactured in Silicone, Viton®, Nitrile and EPDM. These materials are available with the following approvals: FDA, USDA 3-A and USP Class VI.

Inflatable seals are usually used in process industries where sealing problems cannot be solved with solid elastomers or sponge profiles.

Our Inflatable seals are available on relatively short lead-times of typically 4-6 weeks.

ASTRA seals

Mantek are pleased to announce the availability of ASTRA seals. These seals have a Teflon® FEP or PFA jacket over an energising Stainless steel 302 flat wound spring core. They are ideally suited to Cryogenic applications and operate over a temperature range from -250°C to +260°C.

USP Class VI compounds

Mantek can now offer three new grades of compound that meet the requirements of USP Class VI. The materials approved are EPDM 70 (231-309), Viton® ‘A’ 70 (231-307) and Silicone 70 (231-308).

These new compounds are available for the following products:

SJV O-rings
Premium O-ring cords
Moulded parts including O-rings
